Mission Statement
The purpose of Chi Rho Omicron shall be to promote the understanding, enrichment and appreciation of the Pilipino culture, history and heritage through a brotherhood/family environment; to instill the desire for self-improvement, scholastic excellence and the cultivation of civic responsibility.
History
Our seven founding fathers felt a need for the strengthening of Pilipino Unity. This would come through the extinguishing of lines between regions, class levels and language barriers. On February 20, 1995, this brotherhood became a reality on the campus of the California State University at Fresno, uniting both Pilipinos and non-Pilipinos.
Epsilon Chapter was established at California State University Sacramento on May 18, 1998. Since then we have grown to become a well respected fraternity participating in school and local events. Every semester we hold exciting cultural events to help enrich our fellow students of Pilipino awareness & culture. In addition, we feel it is our duty to take part in community service. We contribute fundraisers to the disadvantaged in the community.
